Cashew – 1 cup (150 grams)
Sugar – ½ cup (100 grams)
Water – 4 cups
Cardamom Powder – 4 teaspoons (optional)
Ghee – a little bit (for smoothness)
Prepare cashew powder
First of all, keep the cashew in the fridge for 5 hours, so that they remain dry, then grind them in a mixer and make fine powder. Keep in mind that the mixer should not run too much while powder, otherwise cashew will start leaving oil.
Make sugar syrup
Now add sugar and water in a pan and cook on the gas on medium flame. Keep stirring until a wire syrup is formed.
Mix cashew nuts
Add cashew powder to the syrup and keep stirring continuously on low flame. Gradually this mixture will start to thicken. Cardamom powder can also be added to it.
Dough
When the mixture starts to get rid of the pan and becomes thick, then take it out on the plate. After cooling a little, knead it like a flour with a little ghee in your hand.
