Nitish kumar cabinet meeting: A cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday (July 01, 2025) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. A total of 24 agendas have been approved in it. The most important thing of the meeting is that Nitish Government has paid special attention to the artists of the state. Now the senior and livelihood artists of the state will be given Rs 3000 per month as pension.
For this, approval has been received from the cabinet to spend one crore every year. However, it will be given to the artist who will be above 50 years of age. Apart from this, their income will be less than one lakh 20 thousand annually. Also, it will be mandatory to have at least 10 years of experience in the field of art.
On the other hand today “Chief Minister Bihar Guru Shishya Tradition Scheme” has also received approval from the cabinet. Under this, such arts of Bihar which have become extinct and are quite rare will be promoted to preserve them and guide the young participants will be given guidance by expert gurus. For this, one crore 11 lakh 60 thousand per year will be spent.
