‘Sardar Ji 3’ collected how much collection in three days
Amidst the ongoing controversy over the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, Diljit Dosanjh’s latest release ‘Sardar Ji 3’ is danka at the foreign box office. This film has earned Rs 8.1 crore in the Global Box Office Rur three days. The Punjabi horror-comedy has made a big bang internationally, especially in Pakistan, despite not being released in India due to the ban on Pakistani artists by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) after the Pahalgam terror attack on Pakistani artists.
The third installment of the popular ‘Sardar Ji’ franchise earned a “record -breaking” of Rs 4.32 crore at the overseas box office on Friday, which increased to Rs 6.71 crore on Saturday. According to the data shared on the Insta page of the same Diljit team, the film earned Rs 7.07 crore on Sunday, causing its total earnings to Rs 18.1 crore in three days worldwide.
Pakistan is also rocking ‘Sardar Ji 3’
Due to non -release of domestic release due to political tension, the film’s appeal in the global market has not reduced, especially in Pakistan, where it has created history. On its first day, ‘Sardar Ji 3’ earned 3.5 crores in Pakistan. With this, it surpassed Salman Khan’s previous record of the 2016 blockbuster ‘Sultan’, which opened Rs 3.4 crore in Pakistan.
Controversy continues in the film in India
The film is getting a commercial success, but the controversy continues. The film’s critics have described the inclusion of Hania Aamir in the film as a violation of the order of ban on Pakistani actors of FWICE. However, many people in the film industry have spoken in support of the team, including veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. Now in a deleted Facebook post, Shah defended Diljit Dosanjh and argued that he was not responsible for the casting decision.
Amidst all this, ‘Sardar Ji 3’ is making a splash in foreign theaters, so it will be interesting to see if this film can overcome the earnings of its previous films without its leading Indian audience.
