The actor shared a video on his X account, in which some people are seen attacking the owner of a restaurant in Mumbai’s Meera Road area for not being able to speak Marathi. Ranveer described this incident as harassing and expressed his concern about the law and order situation in Maharashtra.
The actor tweeted, “This is disgusting. Some demons are roaming free, just to gain and get the attention of people. Where is the law and order?”

Ranveer also responded to those who criticized him in the comments of his post. A user asked him, “How many years have you been living in Maharashtra? How much have you tried to learn Marathi?”
Ranveer Shorey said in response, “At first, I am not going to answer unknown people who spread hatred like you. Trying to earn livelihood. ”
