Up weather update: The southwest monsoon in Uttar Pradesh is visible at normal speed. On Tuesday too, some parts of western UP received light to moderate rainfall and heavy rainfall was recorded with thunder-shine. According to the Meteorological Department, on July 9, there are chances of rain at some places in both the divisions of the state. There is a drop in temperature due to rain, but people are troubled by humid heat.
According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain will continue in many districts of western and eastern UP on Wednesday. During this time, along with cloud roaring, alert of thunderstorm has also been issued. Saharanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Sonbhadra, Banda and Chitrakoot have been warned of heavy rain in some places today.
Mercury will fall more in two days
There will be rain in the state till July 14. The temperature of the state has come down due to rain. On Tuesday, Kanpur recorded the highest temperature of 38.4 degrees Celsius, while the mercury in Moradabad and Agra division was lower to 4 degrees above normal. The temperature is expected to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days, after which there is a possibility of increase.

Today in UP, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Meerut, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Badaun, Kasganj, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur, Jalanu, Jhansi, Lalaitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Banda, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Santravatvas Nagar, Mirjapur and Sonbhadra may rain at some places, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of lightning with cloud roaring here.
Ghaziabad, Hapur, Noida, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Firozabad, Agra, Hardoi, Sitapur, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Chandauli, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar and Devariya can occur. No special warning has been given for these areas.
