Indian cricketer Yash Dayal has approached the Allahabad High Court regarding the sexual harassment case filed against him. He has filed a petition for cancellation of the FIR lodged against him under Section 69 of BNS at Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad.

An FIR was registered against Yash Dayal on 6 July at Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad. In the FIR, a woman has accused of sexual harassment. After this, the case has caught fire, and now the cricketer has demanded relief in the High Court, describing himself as innocent.

In his petition, Yash Dayal has made the state government, SHO of Indirapuram police station and complainant woman as defendants. The petition is likely to be heard soon in the double bench.

What did Yash Dayal accuse the woman?

Here, Yash Dayal has also filed a complaint against the woman at Khuldabad police station in Prayagraj for blackmailing. He has given a complaint to the police station through his advocate, in which he has said that the woman is mentally torturing him by implicating him in a false case and demanding money.

Yash Dayal has also alleged in his Tahrir that the woman had threatened to defame them and spoil his career. He has demanded action from the Prayagraj police by conducting a fair investigation into the case. The matter is now under consideration of the High Court amid legal action from both sides. According to legal experts, there are strict punishment and stringent provisions in Section 69 of BNS, which is related to sexual harassment, the court order can have a big impact on both sides.

Now it has to be seen what the High Court takes in this matter and Yash Dayal gets any interim relief under this petition or not.
