Team India scored 540 runs, England’s five wickets fell, know the latest situation

Rocky Flintoff, son of former captain Andrew Flintoff, scored 93 runs but England’s under-19 team could only manage 239 for five wickets till the stumps against the Indian team on the second day of the four-day youth Test here on Sunday.

With a 152 -ball innings of Flintoff, the domestic team ensured that it would not be completely shattered in front of the huge score of 540 runs in India’s first innings. He is still 310 runs behind the visiting team.

Thomas Rev was playing three runs till the stump while Eknath Singh did not open the account.

Rocky got an ideal partner as captain Hamza Sheikh (84 runs) after the early dismissal of Archie Vaughan, son of former England captain Michael Vaughan and former England opener Jaydon Denley. He added 154 runs for the third wicket to England’s score to 191 for two wickets, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi dismissed Sheikh with a spin bowling.

Team India’s innings
Earlier, for the Indian Under-19 team, captain Ayush Mhatre’s centuries and Abhigyan Kundu, Rahul Kumar, Vihan Malhotra and RS Ambrish scored half-centuries, which managed to make a huge score. India started playing ahead of 450 runs for seven wickets on the second day. India touched 500 runs in the first innings thanks to Ambrish and Henil Patel’s innings. Ambrish was dismissed by 70 runs, while Patel scored 38 runs.
