IPL 2024 finalist Sunrisers Hyderabad team has started winding up. The SRH team has appointed former India fast bowler Varun Aaron as the new bowling coach (SRH Bowling Coach IPL 2026). He has replaced James Franlin as a bowling coach.
Now an old statement of Varun Aaron has become the center of discussion, which he gave at the time of IPL 2025. He predicted Mohammed Shami’s release from the Hyderabad team as an expert on ESPN Cricinfo.
Varun Aaron predicted that, “I would say that Mohammed Shami will be released, because he is going through the last stop of his career, fitness is falling and perhaps Ishaan Kishan can also be released.

The Hyderabad team added him to Rs 10 crore, but his performance was very poor, where he was able to take only 6 wickets in 9 matches.
Talking about Ishaan Kishan on the other hand, SRH Franchise was included in his team for Rs 11.25 crore in the mega auction. In the 2025 season, he scored 354 runs in 14 matches. In which he was able to score only one century and a half-century.
