
This ranking has been released in view of the quality of cities for students, in which many scales such as studying opportunities, employment, quality of life, security and affordable life were taken into consideration.

According to the report, Delhi, not only affordability is on top of spending life at low cost, but is also becoming the choice of students of the world for the educational environment.

The report said that Delhi has got the first place among the cheapest cities in the world. Apart from this, Mumbai and Bengaluru have also got a place in the top 15 affordable cities, which is a matter of pride for India. The expenses of living, eating and studies in these cities are much less than the rest of the global cities.

Globally, Delhi has been ranked 111th, Mumbai is 128th, Bengaluru is 129th and Chennai is 130th. Although no city in India could reach the top 50, these cities of India have performed brilliantly on important standards like affordability and quality of education.

To join this list, the population of any city should be more than 2.5 lakhs and it is necessary to have a university with at least two global rankings. The presence of institutions like Delhi University, JNU, IIT, Mumbai University, IISC Bengaluru has helped these cities to join this list.

It is also clear from this report that India is gradually strengthening its place in the field of international education. Experts believe that if policy and resources continue to improve in the coming years, then India can become a favorite destination of students around the world for education.
