If you are 10th or 12th pass and are looking for a government job then there is a great opportunity for you. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited applications for recruitment to 515 posts of apprentice in different trade. Through this recruitment process, youth will get good stipend along with training and can also become a chance to get a permanent job in future.

When and how to apply?

The application process from BHEL has started from 16 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting BHEL’s official website trichy.bhel.com. The last date for application has been fixed on 31 July 2025. After this no application will be accepted.

Total posts and trade

A total of 515 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. These include fitter, welder, turner, machineist, electrician, carpenter, painter, plumber, and other technical trade. This opportunity is very special for those youth who want to work in the technical field and make a future in the government sector.

eligibility requirements

To apply for these posts, candidates must have 10th or 12th pass. Along with this, there should be an ITI certificate in the relevant trade which is received from a recognized institute. Candidates will also have to pay attention that they have passed the ITI examination in 2021, 2022 or 2023.

Age limit

To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 27 years. However, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Salary and stipend

Selected candidates as apprentices will get stipe from 8,000 to 9,000 every month during training. Apart from this, salary can go up to 65,000 per month in trades where there is more demand for experience and skill. Obudging in a large government company like BHEL is considered a strong start of a career in itself.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th and ITI. No written examination or interview will be taken.
