In Maharashtra, the demand to change the name of Khuldabad to ‘Ratnapur’ has once again intensified. BJP MLA Sanjay Kenekar gave a big statement on the issue on Monday, saying that he is going to write a letter to the Chief Minister and request to make a grand memorial dedicated to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Ratnapur. He said that seeing the symbols associated with the name of Aurangzeb, blood is blown and this historical injustice will now be changed.
MLA Sanjay Kenekar said, “We have to change the name of Khuldabad to Ratnapur. I will write a letter to the Chief Minister today requesting Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to make a memorial dedicated in Ratnapur.”
Congress surrounds history
In his statement, Kanekar also targeted the Congress regarding history. He said, “All the aggrievers have ruled India, Adil Shah, Mughal Shah, Nizam Shah or Babur, is English. The history of all these is that the Congress has brought this history and told all our citizens to this history. But we have committed sin to awaken the history. We will do the work of erasing it.”

He said that the sacrifices of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his descendants were forgotten and deliberately hidden his glorious history. Kanekar said that “Maloji Raje Bhosle, Shahaji Raje Bhosle and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, his history was suppressed. Santaji Ghorpade, Danaji Jadav, Tara Rani, who fight with sacrificial warriors like Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is also mentioned less in history.”
Regarding Khuldabad, he said, “When we go, which is called Khuldabad according to the history of the aggressors, it is Ratnapur according to our Hindu cultural mythological account. When Aurangzeb’s name gets to read on the plank, our blood is boiled.”
Kanekar said that the Congress governments neglected the historic Garhi of Shahji Maharaj, which has done the work of burying history. Now that Garhi will be re -decorated and in the memory of Sambhaji Maharaj, steps will be taken to build a grand memorial in Ratnapur.
Kanekar said that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s demand to make such a memorial in Ratnapur, I am going to give a letter to the Honorable Chief Minister today.
