Actor and producer Dheeraj Kumar died on 15 July. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. Dheeraj Kumar was 79 years old. He had pneumonia. Dheeraj Kumar was cremated on 16 July.

After Dheeraj Kumar’s death, his family released the official statement. He wrote, ‘It is informed with great grief that the popular actor, producer and director Dheeraj Kumar left due to cardiac arrest. He was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Hospital. God give peace to his soul.
