Swami Kailashanand Giri told the correct method of Shiva Puja in Sawan
- According to Swami Kailashanand Giri, a person gets religion, meaning, work, salvation on Shiva worship and consecration.
- Those fasting in Sawan should do neem or bubulles, do not brush. After this, take a little panchagavya and take a pledge to fast and say these mantras – Yat tvagasthagatam sapam deh tishtha mamke. Prashanat Panchgavasya Dahtvagnerivandhanam Then start the fast.
- For the worship of Mahadev, do Jalabhishek in Sawan in the morning, but Sawan Shivaratri is worshiped in the four stars of the night. Which recitation should be done in Shiva Puja?

In how many ways Shiva ji is worshiped
According to Swami Kailashanand Giri, Shiva Puja can be performed in 4 ways.
- Mansopachar Puja – This is worshiped by mind. This puja is performed only through a physical object or material, only through imagination and emotion.
- Panchopchar Puja – Which is also called five treatment worship, five types of items are offered to God. These are the five remedies- odor (sandalwood), flowers (flowers), incense, lamp (aarti), and naivedya (bhog).
- Shodopachar Puja – 16 types of worship materials are used in this.
- Rajopachar Puja – Which is also called royal worship, is a special type of worship in which Chhatra, Chavar, Paduka, Gems and Jewelry are also offered to God besides 16 materials.
