Another golden opportunity has come to light for the youth of Bihar to get a government job. The Central Selection Board (CSBC) has issued a notification for recruitment of 4361 posts of driver constable in Bihar Police. These appointments will be made in various districts, units and special armed police forces of Bihar Police. Online applications for this recruitment process will start from 21 July 2025, and interested candidates will be able to apply by 20 August 2025.
Candidates applying for these posts must have at least 10th or 12th pass. Also, they should have at least 1 year experience of driving light or heavy motor vehicles. Talking about physical standards, the minimum height of male candidates should be 165 cm, chest 81 cm (without inflated) and 86 cm (after inflating).
Age limit
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age has been fixed at 20 years. The maximum age of general class candidates has been fixed at 25 years, 27 years of OBC, 28 years of OBC woman, and 30 years of SC/ST class. Age will be calculated on the basis of date of birth recorded in the 10th grade certificate.
How much salary?
Candidates selected under this recruitment will get monthly salary from 21,700 to 69,100. This pay scale has been decided according to the Seventh Pay Commission.
Application fee will have to be paid so much
Candidates will have to pay the application fee. For the application, the original residents of SC/ST and Bihar will have to pay a fee of Rs 180. While all others will have to pay a fee of Rs 675.
This will be selected
Now talk about the selection process. Candidates will be selected in four stages. In the first phase, the written examination, then the physical efficiency test (PET), then the motor driver exam and the document verification will be done in the end. It will be mandatory to be successful in every phase.
