SMR: Clean Energy Compact Options for Bahrain
Small modular reactors (SMRS) can prove to be very effective for a small country like Bahrain. These reactors take less space, are less expensive and are easy to have operations. Like the UAE, Bahrain is also preparing for SMR based energy production with the help of foreign experts.
Technical partnership with investment also deep
Along with this nuclear cooperation, Bahrain has also announced an investment of $ 17 billion in the US. This investment will be made in areas such as aviation, technology and manufacturing. Apart from this, there is also a plan of an 800 km long submarine fiber optic cable project, which will connect Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq.
Bahrain-American relationships are getting stronger
Bahrain and America relationships are not limited to energy just. The US Navy’s Fifth Fleet is also headquartered in Bahrain.
