The Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI has developed these formats in view of the convenience of the people. According to UIDAI, all types of Aadhaar cards are valid and they can be used where needed. Let’s know about them.
Aadhar Letter
The base letter is a paper best laminated letter, which has a QR code mention with the date of release and printed date. The base letter can be easily made for free. Apart from this, it can also be easily updated biometric updates. The person whose Aadhaar card is, is sent through post. If for some reason your original Aadhaar card is lost or is damaged, then you can also get new.
For this, you do not have to do anything special, just have to go to the website of UIDAI and order an order with a fee of Rs 50 to change the Aadhaar letter online.
Aadhar PVC Card
Aadhaar PVC card is a new version of Aadhaar. This Aadhaar card is PVC based, but is stronger than the normal Aadhaar card with paper. That is why it does not explode easily. This includes digital signature, safe QR code, a photo and general information.
PVC cards are sent to the address of the applicant through speed post. Otherwise, you can get it by visiting UIDAI’s website with Aadhaar card number, virtual ID and 50 rupees through enrollment.
M Aadhaar (maadhar)
It is also a form of Aadhaar card. This is a mobile application made by UIDAI. The Aadhaar number gives holders an interface to carry its Aadhaar record registered with CIDR. This record includes a photo and Aadhaar number with demographics data. It also has a QR code for offline verification.
M Aadhaar can be downloaded through any fee. The M Aadhar profile is considered a valid ID by the airports and the Railways. Apart from this, you can also use it to share EKYC.
E Aadhaar (EAADHAR)
This is a safe form of Aadhaar card, which is safe password. It contains a QR code for offline verification. It consists of digitally signature by UIDAI. You can download your e-Aadhaar by visiting the official website of UIDAI using your registered mobile number.
Every Aadhaar enrollment or update immediately generates an e-faction, which can be downloaded for free. It can also be used everywhere and it works like physical copy.
