A case has come to light from Jandiala Guru in Amritsar, Punjab, where a lawyer was seriously injured after being shot by three youths, after which the injured lawyer has been admitted to a private hospital in Amritsar and the police is investigating the spot.
Talking about this, Amritsar Bar Association President Pradeep Saini and Jandiala MLA and Cabinet Minister Harbhajan ETO said that it is very unfortunate that our village councilor’s brother, our family lawyer Lakhwinder Singh was shot on the way to Amritsar court from Jandiala Guru, due to which he was admitted to the hospital.
But these elements should not think that they will escape from such incidents. Along with the police and the legal community, government representatives are also standing with the family, the culprit will soon be caught and the family will get justice.
In this regard, DSP Ravinderpal Singh said that we had received information that three motorcycles riding a government lawyer in Jandiala Guru Nigam had fired bullets and found five shells on the spot.
The lawyer coming to Amritsar court has been admitted to Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar due to two bullets. Currently, his statements will be recorded after the operation and appropriate action will be taken.
