A BCCI source told the news agency PTI that Pant has been out of the ground for 6 weeks. Now news has come that Ishaan Kishan can be included in the team in his place.

During this, Pant tried to put a reverse sweep off the ball of Chris Woakes, but the ball touched the bat directly on his leg, after which he lay down on the ground. Pant was in a lot of pain. Pant tried to walk, but he could not even walk. Pant was then taken to an ambulance.
Going out of Pant can shine the fate of Ishaan Kishan. Ishaan last played a Test match for India in the year 2023. He may return after two years in the team. The BCCI source told PTI, “The scan report shown the fracture and he has been out of the ground for six weeks. The BCCI will soon announce his replacement and the Ishaan Kishan replacement may be there.”
