There will be a lot of business between the two countries
There is a turnover of about $ 56 billion between the two countries, which is targeted to double by 2030. Under this deal, India has also set a target of $ 250 billion engineering exports by 2030. Under this free trade agreement of India and Britain, tariffs will be removed from 99 percent of Indian exports. In these, many industries like clothing to sea products, leather, shoes, toys, auto components, organic chemicals are covered.
For example, at present, 12 percent on clothes from India to Britain, 8 percent on chemical and 10 % duty fee on base metal are imposed. After this deal, now tariffs will be removed from the export of these goods. Apart from this, all medical devices will also be exported to zero tariffs in Britain. Indian professionals will be exempted from social security payment for three years.

Grapes from India, jackfruit will be London
India has completely excluded sensitive agricultural products like dairy, apple, cooking oil, oats in this deal, which is stuck for bilateral trade agreement with the US as the US wants to increase its reach in these areas, while India does not want to do so by protecting the interests of the farmers of its country.
According to media reports, a senior official of the Ministry of Commerce says that “duty-free access may lead to more than 20 percent jump in agricultural exports in India in the next three years, which will help achieve $ 100 billion agricultural export target by 2030. Export of export will also be strengthened.
