DM Mayur Dixit himself conducted a terrestrial inspection of the cleaning system and instructed all the officers to dispose of garbage at the earliest.

Haridwar reached more than 4 crore kavadis
This time during the Kavad Yatra in Haridwar, more than 4 crore 50 lakh Kavad passengers had arrived, due to which there has been a big garbage in many places here. Thousands of tonnes of garbage has been collected in this area during the Kavad Yatra, which is being cleaned on mission mode, this waste is spread from rural areas to urban areas.

The district administration has claimed to clean the entire Haridwar within the next 48 to 72 hours, about which a large number of cleaning workers have been deployed. All officers have been instructed to do this work fast so that the smell cannot spread around. The district administration believes that this garbage will be disposed of soon.
