The response of Deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar has come to light amid controversy over language in Maharashtra. He has said that everyone should be proud of his mother tongue and proud of him.

If he does not know other speaking people living in Maharashtra, Marathi, then they should respect Marathi and try to learn Marathi language without any aggressive attitude. He also said that some people react and say that I do not speak Marathi, it does not work.

The deputy CM said in a conversation with the media, “If other speaking people living in Maharashtra say that we are living in Maharashtra but not so good Marathi but we respect Marathi. Our language is Hindi or English but we will definitely try to learn. No one said so much that nothing will be wrong. ”

‘You should also think about where you work’

He further said, “But sometimes someone reacts or not, I do not speak, it does not work.” Where you work, a little bit of people there, people should think, think about what their thoughts are, and should live happily with each other.

‘Those who do not know Marathi should speak politely’

The NCP leader also said about the language dispute, “Everyone from Maharashtra to Jammu and Kashmir should be proud of their mother tongue. Marathi has got the status of aristocracy. The language that is happening at this time is wrong. Those living here who do not know Marathi, then they should say politely that we do not know Marathi, we are learning. ”
