He reported that today’s war is a mixture of traditional and modern methods, including both kinetic (weapon-based) and information based strategies. This is the coordination of the war techniques of the first, second and third generation.

On Thursday, the central government told in Parliament that Operation Sindoor was started on 7 May, which was India’s retaliation after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. Minister of State for External Affairs in Rajya Sabha Kirti Vardhan Singh said that this operation was focused on destroying the structure of terror and killing the terrorists. India’s action was focused, measured and avoided.
Did Operation Sindoor begin under international pressure?
When the government was asked whether Operation Sindoor was introduced under international pressure, the Ministry of External Affairs clarified that it was India’s spontaneous and concrete response. After four days of continuous retaliation, the Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan approached the Indian counterpart and proposed a ceasefire. On May 10, the ceasefire between the two countries agreed.
