Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reached Jodhpur on Sunday. In a conversation with the media at the airport, he described the incident of collapse of the school building in Jhalawar as unfortunate and said that strict action would be taken after investigating the incident.

He said that in order to avoid such incidents in future, the state government has decided to audit all government schools and public buildings. That work is going on.
Shekhawat said, “We have to assess all public buildings and schools once again so that such an accident does not happen again. Steps have been taken in this direction under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.”
Reacting to Chirag Paswan’s statement of regretting the pre -support given to the Nitish Kumar government, Shekhawat said, “I think it is not necessary to react immediately on such topics. NDA is completely united and a government will be formed under the BJP leadership in Bihar elections.”
On the case of rape of a woman in an ambulance in Bihar, he said that it is very embarrassing and worrying. He said, “There is no limit to crime. The state government is responsible for such cases and questions should be asked from them.”
On the resignation of Education Minister, he said – politics inspired by politics
On the demand for his resignation from the Education Minister after the Jhalawar accident, Shekhawat said, “Demand or giving resignation can be a statement inspired by politics. But this incident is definitely very sad and we should take lessons from it.”
Took a pinch to call Rahul Gandhi as ‘Ambedkar’
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi to be given the title like Dr. Ambedkar, Shekhawat said, “To become Ambedkar, one has to study deeply, keep openness and big thinking in thoughts. No person can become Ambedkar without penance and sacrifice.”
