For this, you can first download MCD’s official mobile app ‘MCD 311’, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. Through this app, you can file complaints related to not lifting garbage, dirt, cleaning of drains or the status of dustbins. There is also an option to upload photos in the app so that the corporation is easy to understand the ground situation. Apart from this, a complaint can also be lodged by visiting the website of Delhi Municipal Corporation www.mcdonline.nic.in. Apart from this, you can also get rid of the problem by calling 155305.

Complaint can also be made by tagging social media
After filing the complaint, you get a reference number so that you can track the status of your complaint. Not only this, a complaint can be made by tagging MCD on ‘Delhi Government Citizen App’ and Twitter/X. Numbers of local ward councilors have also been made public in many areas so that people can contact them directly. MCD claims that in most cases action is taken within 24 to 48 hours of complaint. However, in many places people have to wait despite complaints.
