Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a speech during a discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament. Regarding this, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi did not respond to Trump’s ceasefire claim. He said that the word China did not come out of the mouth of the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “The US President (Donald Trump) spoke about a ceasefire between India and Pakistan 29 times, Prime Minister Modi did not make a single comment on it and the most surprising thing is that Prime Minister Modi did not speak the word China even once in his entire speech.” He said, “The whole country knows that China has helped Pakistan. Yet the word China did not come out of the Prime Minister’s mouth or from the Defense Minister’s mouth.

At the same time, Rahul Gandhi gave a speech in the Lok Sabha, Foreign Minister S.K. Citing a statement by Jaishankar, targeted the Modi government at the Center. He said, “This is a very dangerous time because now we are facing the joint strength of Pakistan and China and in such a situation we cannot tolerate a Prime Minister who does not have the power to use the army in the way, just as the army should have been used. We cannot tolerate a Prime Minister who does not have the power to come here that he can come here and say that Donald Trump is not stopped and did not stop fighting India.”

He said, “We need a Prime Minister who gives an open exemption to the army, give full exemption to the Navy and also give an open exemption to the Air Force and say go to finish the work, as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi did it.”
