Election Commission has given special intensive revision in Bihar (Sir) After the process, the first draft of the voter list has been released on Friday (1 August). A copy of this amended voter list draft has been sent to all recognized political parties. District Election Officers of Bihar have handed over the physical and digital copy of the draft of the revised voter list to political parties in 38 districts.
The Election Commission will upload the draft of the voter list on its official website at 3 pm. All voters will be able to check their name through a draft voter list. If someone’s name is cut, then he can register an objection with the Election Commission. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has said that all the voters or political parties of Bihar can register their objections in the revised voter list from August 1 to September 1.
What did the Election Commission response at the draft
According to the IANS report, a senior official of the Election Department said that the draft will also be published on the official website on Friday (August 1), so that voters can see it and register suggestions or objections. The purpose of this process is to bring transparency in elections and to give every eligible voter its right. District magistrates have been instructed to hold meetings with political parties at the local level and discuss the format.
