The new Chief Secretary to be built after Amrit Lal Meena, Chief Secretary of Bihar Government, has been appointed. The government has removed its notification 27 days in advance today i.e. on Monday itself. The Bihar government has already appointed the new Chief Secretary before the retirement of Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena.

The IAS officer of 1991 batch, the affection Amrit will be the new Chief Secretary from September 1, 2025. The government issued a notification 27 days ago. Current Development Commissioner Pratyas Amrit has been given additional charge of Special Working Officer in the office of the Chief Secretary for immediately one month. This is the first time that the notification of the new Chief Secretary has been released a month ago.
Has done many important and commendable tasks
Now the suffixes of Gopalganj will be the new Chief Secretary of Amrit Bihar. Pratyas Amrit has contributed to many major positions of Bihar government. He has done many important and commendable works. During his IAS training, he also learned tribal language Santhali in Dumka. He is considered one of the very close officials of CM Nitish Kumar.
The current Chief Secretary will replace Amritlal Meena, who is retiring on 31 August. Meena has not received service extension. Notification has been issued by the General Administration Department in this regard. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar this year. In such a situation, the suffix nectar will have a very important responsibility. The suffix Amrit will retire from the post of Chief Secretary on 31 July 2027. In such a situation, they will have a long time to work as the Chief Secretary for Bihar.
