Unidentified miscreants opened fire on the statue of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Mouswala in Sawantkheda village in Dabwali, Haryana on Tuesday (August 5). After this incident, Mouswala’s mother Charan Kaur expressed deep grief on social media, calling it an attack on the son’s soul.
He said that his son’s enemies are not allowing him to stay peacefully even after death. Let us know that Sidhu Mouswala was shot dead by gangsters in 2022 and now his attack on Statue has done the work of scrapping the same wound once again.

Please tell that this idol of Sidhu Mouswala was installed last year by the state president of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Digvijay Chautala. According to the Hindustan Times, after the incident, Chautala was sent a video from a foreign mobile number in which a clip of firing was shown on the idol.
The video warned that his supporters would be the next target after Mouswala. Dabwali police has registered an FIR in the case and investigation has been started.

According to the report of Live Hindustan, Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for firing on the idol. Gang members Goldie Dhillon and Arju Bishnoi have warned Digvijay Chautala and Gagan Khokri on social media that they are misleading the public by giving martyr status to Mousala. He says that the idols of the martyr should be of Bhagat Singh or a soldier, not a singer. This statement has created a huge controversy on social media.

Posting in Punjabi on Instagram, Charan Kaur wrote, “My son was the voice of people’s rights and now an attempt is being made to silence him, while he has gone to God.” He also said that Sidhu Mosewala is not just a name, but a movement that will always continue.
He hoped to punish the culprits severely and said, “Our silence is not our defeat.”
