Archana Tiwari, a female passenger going from Indore to Katni, went missing under mysterious circumstances from the Narmada Express on Thursday (7 August). On reaching Katni, the bag and rakhi were found on their berths, but she herself was missing. Archana was preparing for a civil judge in Indore and was returning home on the spot of Rakshabandhan. This matter is under investigation by the Railway Police and their search is going on.
How and when the accident happened?
It happened that Archana Tiwari was traveling at berth number 3 in B-3 coach of Narmada Express. On reaching Katni, the family saw that their berth was empty, but their belongings and rakhi were present there. The family immediately informed GRP Katni and lodged a complaint on the Rail Help portal.
GRP in -charge Anil Marawi said that Archana’s last conversation with her mother was held at 10:16 pm on Thursday (7 August). After this, his phone switched off. The last location of the mobile was registered near Rani Kamalapati station in Bhopal.
Civil judge was preparing to stay in Indore
Archana, originally a resident of Mangal Nagar area of Katni, had been preparing for a civil judge for a long time in Indore. The whole family reached Katni station on the day of Rakshabandhan. Family members say that she was mentally fine and was excited about coming home. Instead of getting off the train, the disappearance in this way remains a mystery for the family and the police.
Investigation and further action
The railway police has started investigating the case. Passengers present in the B-3 coaches of the train are being questioned and CCTV footage is being investigated. Police say that investigation is being done at all possible angles- whether it is to get down with a acquaintance, suddenly an emergency, or a possibility of a crime.
The GRP has also appealed to the passengers and citizens to inform the police immediately if they have seen Archana or have any information.
