These 7 symptoms can be a sign of blood clots

  • Cough sudden or without any reason: If you suddenly start having dry cough, then it can be a sign of blood clots or pulmonary embolism in the lungs. This cough is often not cured by syrup or medicine. In some cases, small scars of blood can also come with cough.
  • One leg or hand cool: If a blood clot has been formed in any of your parts, then the blood flow at that place may decrease. In such a situation, one hand or leg may feel colder than the other hand or leg. It can also have light tingling or numbness.
  • Sudden blur in one eye: If clot freezes in the arteries that deliver blood to the eye, then sudden blurring or appearance in one eye may stop. It can only be for a few minutes, but it can be a sign of a small stroke.
  • Severe pain or shoulder discomfort while breathing: There may be a severe pain while taking a deep breath when there is a blood clot in the lungs. This pain can sometimes spread to the shoulder or upper back of the back, causing people to consider it as muscle pain.
  • Red, itchy skin on one leg, without rash: When a blood clot in a deep vein, there may be swelling, redness, itching and warmth in the skin above it, while no grain or rash appears. This symptom is often in just one leg.
  • Sudden jaw pain or pressure: In some cases, heart related problems may be indicated in the form of jaw pain or pressure. Chest pain is a common symptom, but especially in women, its signs can be very light, such as tightness in the jaw or neck.
  • Swelling in the back of the knee or waist: Blood clots can be hidden behind the knee or also in the pelvic region. If in these places, especially on one side, swelling appears and mild pain with it, then it can be a sign of deep vein thrombosis.
