A meeting is going to be held between US President Donald Trump and Russia President Vladimir Putin. Both of them will hold talks in Alaska. Earlier, Trump has given a big statement earlier. He said that the tariff imposed due to buying oil from Russia on India will get a shock to Moscow’s economy. He described India as Russia’s second largest oil buyer.
Trump said during a press conference at the White House, staring at Putin, saying, ,When US President Russia’s largest or second biggest oil buyer tells that you bought oil from Russia, then 50 percent tariff will be taken, it is definitely a big shock for it., US President Trump also claimed that this would affect Russia’s economy badly.
Trump and Putin have to meet in Alaska
According to a New York Times report, Putin and Trump are going to have a meeting next week. Trump said about this meeting, ,I want to see what is going on in the mind of his (Putin). I will know in the beginning two minutes whether there can be an agreement or not. Perhaps then I will go away by saying good luck.,
Why Trump imposed 50 percent tariff on India
The US had imposed only 25 percent tariff on India, but after that it increased to 50 percent. Donald Trump is angry about India. He has a problem for buying oil from Russia in India. Trump accused Russia of promoting the war. There is going to be a trade deal between India and America, but it has not been agreed. Trump wants India to compromise in dairy and agriculture, but India is not ready for it.
