This week, two big films ‘Coolie’ and ‘War 2’ are going to be clashed. Both films have superstars and fans are waiting for their release. Yes, Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer War 2 and Rajinikanth’s cooling are going to knock in theaters on August 14, 2025. There are only two days left in the release of both these films but in Tollywood, ticket booking has not reached peak.
The distributors of both films are waiting for the approval of the government to increase the ticket prices. Booking will start as soon as the official order is issued. But are the Telugu viewers ready to spend more than 100-200 rupees more than the current ticket prices? If he has to watch these two films in theaters, then he will have to do so.
Tills of ‘Kuli’ and ‘War 2’ can be expensive in Telugu
According to 123 Telugu reports, the ticket prices of both dub films are expected to be very high. For example, a multiplex may have to spend about 400 rupees to look at the coolie. This is a huge amount for the Telugu audience, and even more shocking is that the prices of tickets here are actually more than the original market of films. It would be surprising to know that both Kuli in Tamil Nadu and War 2 in North India are cheaper than proposed prices in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
People are expressing anger on social media
There are the same people who apply for the increase in ticket prices, who give speeches like “Save Cinema, Bachao Bachao”. At the same time, TFI movie lovers are expressing their anger on social media and are accusing the so -called veterans of converting cinema into a luxury product instead of affordable entertainment. At the same time, how the governments and the concerned ministers will deal with this tension with the manufacturers, it is not clear yet. Whatever the decision, these new steps are in danger of visiting OTT instead of theaters.
