Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has issued recruitment notification for 406 posts of Staff Nurse. Who can apply?
- For this recruitment, the candidate should have qualifications related to the nursing area.
- BSC Nursing or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) degree or diploma is mandatory.
- Along with this, it is necessary to pass with 10th grade Punjabi language.
Age limit
At least 18 years of applying candidates have been fixed at 18 years. While the maximum age of applying candidates is 37 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given exemption according to the rules at maximum age.
Application fee will have to be paid so much
Candidates of SC category applying will have to pay 1180 fees. While the fee for all other categories has been kept at Rs 2360.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected in three stages. The first will be the written test which will be of a total of 90 marks. After this, interviews of shortlisted candidates will be taken. Then after the medical examination selection, the candidate will have a health checkup. Apart from this, those with experience in the nursing field will get 10 points and a separate work will be given to work during the Kovid epidemic.
So much salary
Selected candidates will get a salary of 29,200 every month. This pay scale will be according to the rules of the Punjab government.

Exam pattern
- Written Exam: 90 marks
- Experience Numeral: 10 digits
- Covid Service Points: 1.5 digits
- The syllabus of the written examination will be based on questions related to the nursing subject, as well as general knowledge and basic computer knowledge can be tested.
