For the first time I became a part of the film fraternity and interacted with him. Oh God! It was incredible to be seen among such great stars. During this time I also faced some bitter truth. After talks with people, we had to pose for group photographs. Many people came running and started asking for autographs from me.
He further wrote- ‘I heard Nargis saying to Raj Kapoor that he should go to me and ask me not to give autographs. He obeyed him and brought his message directly to me. I just nodded my head, but I was quite surprised by this attitude. This was my first meeting with Raj and Nargis.

Nargis had publicly jokingly called ‘pillar’
This story was also narrated by Annu Kapoor in one of her shows. He told that Vyjayanti Mala was very long. When everyone was standing for the group photo at the event, Nargis looked at Vyjayanti Mala and said- ‘Vyjayanti is very long, like a pillar, tree.’ Hearing this, tears came in her eyes and in that group photograph, she stood up with her knees. She was very sad when she went home. Then his mother explained to him that you should not pay attention to anyone’s words, keep doing your work honestly. Your job will be your answer to those people.
