4) The Dahi Handi festival of Sankalp Pratishthan will be organized by Shiv Sena (Shinde) Deputy Leader and Organizer Ravindra Phatak on 16 August 2025 in Sankalp Chowk, Raghunath Nagar. This is the 20th year and this time a cash prize of Rs 21 lakh will be given to Govinda Pathak, who breaks the world record.
In Thane and Mumbai suburbs (MMRDA), the first team will get a reward of Rs 11 lakh by coming to the Dahi Handi of Sankalp Pratishthan. After this, millions of rupees and respect will also be given to other teams who put 9 trees. The rest of Govinda stones will also be awarded with cash and honor symbol.
Women Govinda teams will also be involved in this festival, who show courage like men and blow the hand by putting them high. Therefore, special awards have also been kept for the women Govinda teams of Thane and Mumbai. A total of 3 Handi will be seen in this grand event – one for the teams of Thane, the other for the teams of Mumbai and the third for the special women.
