Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, who was famous for his batting, is now struggling with serious health problems. His younger brother Virendra Kambli told that he is feeling difficult to speak and walk. This news has become a cause of concern for his fans and cricket world.
Beginning of disease
Vinod Kambli’s health problems started in December 2024, when he was admitted to a hospital in Thane due to urin infection and cramps. Seeing the seriousness of his situation, doctors kept him in the ICU. In the investigation, blood clots were found in him, which made his condition more serious. Doctors said that their brain is in unstable state and is having degenerative changes in it, which are signs of recent strokes. After a few months of treatment and physiotherapy, the condition of Vinod Kambli has been seen to improve. His brother Virendra told that he is now at home and his situation is stable, but he is still having difficulty speaking and walking.
He informed that Vinod’s physiotherapy is going on and efforts are being made to bring back the strength and coordination gradually. He appealed to the fans to pray and give moral support so that Vinod could get healthy quickly.
How dangerous the disease is?
The condition of humor is serious because more than one problems in their body are together. Urine infection, cramps and brain blood cloths are weakening their nervous system and kidney. The difficulty, weakness and fatigue in speaking and walking show that there is a lot of impact on their health. If not treated on time, it can reach Kidney Failure, Stroke or Permanent Damage. Therefore, their illness is not only troublesome, but also very dangerous.
Vinod Kambali’s career
Vinod Kambali played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for India between 1993 and 2000. He is the fastest Indian batsman to score 1000 Test runs. This is a record that continues till date. Even after starting an international career in 1991, his international career lasted less than a decade despite playing 104 ODIs and 17 Tests for India. Cambali scored 1084 runs in 17 Tests at an average of 54.20. These include four centuries and three half -centuries. Apart from this, he scored 2477 runs in 104 ODIs at an average of 32.59. These include two centuries and 14 half -centuries. In first -class cricket, he scored 9965 runs in 129 matches at an average of 59.67. These include 35 centuries and 44 half -centuries.
