On August 22, on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Bihar. Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary gave complete information on Thursday (August 21, 2025) that whether PM Modi is going to give some gift to Bihar. Emperor Chaudhary said that Narendra Modi on Friday will give a gift of various development projects costing Rs 12,992 crore to the people of Bihar. Religious tourism has been given special importance in these projects, which will give a new identity to the culture, heritage and tourism capacity of the state.
Under the improvement in railway connectivity, the train service of ‘Buddha Circuit’ from Vaishali to Koderma will start. It will run to Koderma via Vaishali, Hajipur, Sonpur, Patna, Fatuha, Rajgir, Nateshwar, Gaya. This will help in adding many important heritage related to Buddhism and will increase the number of tourists.
Simaria Dham will have better contact
On the other hand, for better contact till Simaria Dham, the 1.86 km long 6 lane bridge has been built on NH-31 at a cost of Rs 1,870 crore, which will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister. This bridge will ensure easy access to the birthplace of Simaria Dham and Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, the major pilgrimage site of the country.
In the field of religious tourism, the construction of the Maa Janaki temple in Punaura Dham (Sitamarhi) is also an important initiative, which has been on 67 acres of land. Its cost is about 882 crores. Apart from this, the ‘Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Smriti Stupa’ located in Vaishali has been inaugurated, which will further promote tourism.
Announcement of Sultanganj-Deoghar rail route also
Sultanganj-Deoghar rail route is also going to be announced in railway services, which will provide facilities to crores of devotees during the Shravani fair. There was no train service on this route till now. Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary said that promoting religious and cultural tourism will create a new identity of Bihar and the state’s economy will be strengthened.
