Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, who has made films like ‘Satya’, ‘Neckid’, ‘Rangeela’, and ‘Dangerous’, has raised many questions on social media on social media on the modified order given by the Supreme Court about stray dogs in Delhi-NCR.

Question from Ram Gopal Varma’s Supreme Court

Ram Gopal Varma released a post on the social media platform X, on which he wrote, “The Supreme Court has said that the dogs (road) dogs should be caught first and vaccinated them and then they should be released back from where they were caught.

He questioned how the vaccination certificate of dogs would be saved from being cut or killed on the road? Will the dog decide whether to cut his medical file or not? That is, dogs will not be taken anywhere else. They will be treated and released back there.

He also asked that we have enough infrastructure, staff and budget to check the aggressive or rabies infected dogs will not be released?

Will the dog decide whether to cut his medical file or not, Ram Gopal Varma raised questions

Ram Gopal Varma also asked these questions

The director asked, “Will the mental health of every dog be recorded? If a dog bites a moment and shakes the next moment, is he aggressive or friendly? Will the team of lawyers, animal lovers, doctors and psychologists of dogs decide their mental state?” He further said, “Will the Supreme Court set up thousands of special courts that will decide whether a dog is released or not?”

Verma also raised questions on the order of the court’s ‘public place to give food in the dog feeding made’ and ‘food at the designated places’. He asked, “Who will decide this determined place and on what basis? And will Street Dogs get a Google map to show the way to these places?”

Verma also asked whether there was any plan to stop migration from one area of dogs from one area to another? Finally, he wanted to know from the Supreme Court that why the order does not mention the victims of dog attacks, especially the slain children?

Ram Gopal Varma has requested the Supreme Court to consider all these aspects, so that the final order is in the interest of all.

According to the order of the court, the street dogs will be captured and left again in the same area after sterilization, vaccination and deworming from where they were caught. However, this rule will not apply to crazy (rabies infected) or aggressive behavior dogs.
