After learning acting from Gujarati theater, Prateek Gandhi moved to films. On seeing this, he made an image of man Next Door with his best characters. But it was not easy for him to travel this journey.

After learning the nuances of acting from Jarati theater, he stepped into the world of OTT since 1992 in 2020. With the first series, he left an indelible impression of his character in the mind of the audience.

Nowadays Prateek Gandhi is making a lot of headlines for his series ‘Saare Jahan Se Achhe’. He is being appreciated in the role of Indian Raw agent. Now recently he remembered his struggling period in an interview to Hindustan Times.

The actor told that in the early days 20 years ago, when he used to go to audition, many times the directors said to him, ‘Good actor, do you do well, see butt’. The actor further said that after hearing this from the directors, he always thought what is lacking in them.

In the interview, Prateek revealed that many times he was also told that he is not a hero material. Prateek said, ‘The kind of defense that has been given to us by an actor was so different that if you are not of that color, size then you do not come in the category of actor.’

However, Prateek Gandhi never paid attention to all these things and has achieved his new place with hard work and dedication. In 2005, he started his acting career with Gujarati theaters. After this, he was seen in small roles in films like ‘Lavayatri’ and ‘Friends’.

In 2020, he got a big break from ‘Scam 1992’ and this started his stardom. After this, he was seen in the lead role in films like ‘Madgaon Express’, ‘Do and Do Pyaar’, ‘Dhoom Dhoom’.

Talking about Prateek Gandhi’s upcoming projects, he will be seen in the lead role in Hansal Mehta’s series ‘Gandhi’. The World Premier of this series will be held during the Toronto International Film Festival of 2025.
