US President Donald Trump has taken a big decision among Tariff War with India. Trump has appointed Sergio Gore in his confidant as the next Ambassador of America in India. Along with this, Gore has also been entrusted with the responsibility of special messenger for South and Middle East Asian affairs. Trump has made this decision amidst the heavy tariffs imposed on India.

Sergio Gore has been a close associate of the Trump family for a long time. He co-established Winning Team Publishing with Donald Trump Junior. Under this, two books of President Trump were published. Apart from this, he operated one of the largest super PACs supporting Trump’s campaigns. Trump praised Gore and said that Sergio is an excellent friend and colleague, who stayed at every step from my election campaigns to publication. They will prove to be a brilliant ambassador for this region.
What did Sergio Gore say when India’s ambassador was made?
Sergio Gore reacted when the next ambassador was nominated for India. He wrote on X that America’s representation in India would be the greatest honor of my life. I am not proud of anything more than serving American people through great works of this administration. He thanked President Trump for the incredible faith and trust and said that it is a milestone of his career.
Trump’s confidant is Sergio Gore
Gore played an important role in the appointment process of senior officers in Trump administration. Recently, he was also involved in the nomination process of billionaire Jreds Isaqman for NASA chief. Gore is known as a person who has been able to mold the administrative structure according to Trump’s vision.
Who is the US ambassador at present?
Sergio Gor will be the successor of Eric Garccy, who served as US Ambassador to India from 11 May 2023 to 20 January 2025. Prior to him, Kenneth Juster (2017–2021) took over the post. The US Embassy in India was led by Jargon K. Since Garcheti’s term ended. He was doing Andrews, who took charge on 20 January 2025. Now the appointment of Gore is yet to be approved by the Senate. Till then he will continue to play his current role in the White House.
