A horrific road accident occurred late in the night in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where a tractor filled with devotees on NH 34 near Aligarh border was hit by a container coming from behind. This collision was so fast, the tractor overturned. 8 people have died in this accident, while 45 people have been injured.
The accident took place near Ghatal village on National Highway 34 under Bulandshahr police station. At the time of the accident, there were 60-61 devotees in the tractor, who were going from Kasganj to Gogamedi in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the container coming from behind hit the tractor strongly, causing the trolley to overturn.
After this accident, there was a scream in the entire area and people shouted to save their lives. As soon as the incident was reported, the local police station reached the spot, after which the work of saving people started.
8 killed, 45 people injured
Police immediately admitted the injured in the accident to the local hospital through ambulance, where they are being treated. In this accident, eight people died on the spot. Police has sent the dead bodies and sent for post -mortem.
45 devotees have been injured in the accident. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Among the injured, 3 people are on ventilator, whose condition is critical. However, the rest of the people have suffered minor injuries.
SSP gave information about accident
Giving information about this, SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh of Bulandshahr said, “An unfortunate incident took place on the NH-34 at Aligarh border at around 2:15 pm tonight. Around 60-61 people were riding in a tractor to Rajasthan from Kasganj district. A high speed container coming from behind hit the tractor.”
He said, “The tractor overturned after the collision and a large number of people were injured. The condition of all the others except 3 of the injured is said to be fine. The tractor has been removed from the spot. The truck has been seized and the driver has been taken into custody.
