US President Donald Trump is in great discussion these days about his activism in international politics. On August 15, he met the President of Russia. Now Trump has hoped North Korean President Kim Jong Un by the end of this year.
According to Xinhua’s report, Trump met South Korean President Lee J-Mayang at the White House on Monday (25 August 2025). At the beginning of this meeting, he mentioned North Korean President Kim Jong Un. Trump had said that his relationship with Kim is good and he is eager to meet him again. Trump said, “I have very good relations with him. I think there are immense possibilities in his country.”
Meeting Kim Jong Un three times
Trump has also met Kim Jong Un thrice in the past. Trump met North Korean President three times during his last President’s tenure. Trump and Kim first met in Singapore in June 2018. In February 2019, both met for the second time in Hanoi, Vietnam. At the same time, the third meeting of the two leaders took place in June 2019 in Inter-Korian border village Panmunjom. During the meeting at the White House, South Korean President Lee also praised Trump’s diplomacy. He said, “I hope you will be able to bring peace to the Korean peninsula.” Lee said that if Trump remained in the presidency, Kim could not carry forward his nuclear capabilities. Russian President Vladimir meets Putin
Donald Trump met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15 with the aim of ending the ongoing war with Ukraine.
