1 September: Start of National Nutrition Week- National Nutrition Week is celebrated every year from 1 to 7 September. Its purpose is to make people aware of the importance of nutritious diet and balanced eating. Between the changing lifestyle and increasing habits of junk food, this week reminds people of healthy food.
September 2: World Coconut Day- On this day, the usefulness of coconut and its benefits are told. Coconut is called super food because it is also useful in medicines and cosmetic. Special programs are organized on this day in coastal states like Kerala, Goa and Tamil Nadu.

4 September: Eid e Milad those prophet- This day is celebrated as the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Mohammed, the founder of the religion of Islam. Muslim communities all over the world do special blessings in mosques and the poor are helped.
