According to the report, after four weeks without washing, both the covers of the pillow and the sheet can have millions of colony units (CFUs) per square inch. After sleeping a week on the cover of your pillow, more than 17,000 bacteria are deposited compared to the toilet seat, or the units of more than 3 to 5 million colony per square inch are accumulated.
According to the report, the normal types of bacteria found in bed are gram-negative rods, gram-positive rods, basili and village-positive coci. Some of these can cause bacteria infections.
