This year (2025) assembly elections are to be held in Bihar. The security of many leaders is being increased these days before the election. Now the security of three more leaders has been increased by the Home Department. The three leaders include BJP MP from Darbhanga, Gopalji Thakur from Samastipur, LJP (Ram Vilas) MP Shambhavi and Congress state president cum Kutumba MLA Rajesh Kumar. They will be given Y category security.
It is said that it was decided in the meeting of the State Security Committee on the security classification of specific persons of the state recently. After this, the Home Department wrote a letter to the DGP and the Special Branch and directed the concerned MPs and MLAs to ensure the safety of Y category. Please tell that eight people in Y category are deployed in security. There are one or two commandos and the rest of the police personnel.
Six leaders were extended security right now
It may be noted that the security of six more leaders was also increased this month. Among them, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary was given the security of ASL (Advance Security Liegen) with Z Plus category, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav was given Jade category, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, Araria MP Pradeep Kumar Singh and flood MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu were given Y Plus category. At the same time, JDU Legislative Councilor Neeraj Kumar was given Y category security. Among these six leaders, MP Pappu Yadav was demanding to increase security since long.
Shambhavi Chaudhary was protested in Darbhanga
Please tell that Shambhavi Chaudhary was opposed during the mass media program held on August 22 at a high school in Kusheshwarsthan block of Darbhanga. His father and JDU Minister Ashok Chaudhary were also on the occasion. They were enraged from the stage itself. Had said, “I don’t want your vote.” People shouted slogans with placards written in their hands and ‘Shambhavi go back’ and ‘no road no, no vote’.
