A heartbreaking case has come to light from Samaypur Badli area of ​​Delhi. Here a 16 -year -old boy hit a 32 -year -old man while driving a car and then dragged him for several meters. The injured were rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.

How did the accident happen?

According to the police, at around 7 pm on August 23, a young man named Sujit Mandal was standing outside his factory. Then a red colored I10 car whose number DL 9CAA was 7045, he hit him strongly. The collision was so fast that Sujit got stuck in front of the car.

Instead of stopping the car, the driver dragged him to NDPL office, gate number 5 and threw it and escaped. CCTV footage showed that the accused once stopped the vehicle, but escaped from the spot by driving the car again. Sujit’s brother -in -law Jeetansh told the police that Sujit Mandal used to work in a PVC pipe factory in Badli Industrial Area.

Arrest of accused

Based on the CCTV footage, the police traced the car number and detected the accused during the investigation. It was learned that the train was taken from a mechanic shop. Police recovered the vehicle from Mandoli area through technical investigation and mobile location. The accused is a 16 -year -old boy from Rohini and is a student. He was taken into custody and presented before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).

Case filed and further action

The police have registered an FIR number 852/2025 in this case. The car has been seized and further investigation is on. Initial investigation has revealed that the accused could not control the car at the time of the incident and the victim got stuck in the bonnet. Police say that negligence in the accident is clearly visible and strict action will be taken on it.
