A technical fault occurred during the flight in an F-35 aircraft of the US Air Force. The pilot spoke to the engineers on the phone for about 50 minutes to fix the problem in the fighter jet, but when the situation did not improve, he had to jump from the plane in compulsion. The incident took place in Alaska, USA.
The pilot landed on the land safe from the parachute, but the aircraft fell on the runway and crashed and caught fire. Its pictures are becoming quite viral on social media, in which fighter jet can be seen blasting.

According to the CNN report, snow was frozen in the hydraulic lines of the ahead of the aircraft and the main landing gear. Due to this, the pilot had difficulty in operating it and the plane crashed. After flying, the pilot tried to pull back the landing gear, but it could not happen due to technical fault. While trying again, the front gear was locked on the left direction.

When the pilot tried to fix the malfunction in the aircraft, Jet gave such a reaction as if he was standing on the ground, while the aircraft was in the air. After this, the pilot flying near the base spoke to five engineers of Lockheed Martin Company over the phone. He remained on the call for about an hour and all together kept trying to end the problem.
Jet’s sensor gave a signal, then out of aircraft control
The pilot tried to land two ‘Tunch and Go’ to straighten the jammed noj gear, but failed both, causing the landing gear to be completely frozen. After this, the sensor of Jet gave a signal, which led to the aircraft control and the pilot was forced to jump.
The Air Force inspection found that there was water in one-third of hydraulic fluid in front of the aircraft and in the right main landing gear. 9 days later, there was a problem of a uniform ‘hydraulic icing’ on the same base, although the aircraft was safely landing. The accident occurred at a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.
Lockheed Martin’s F-35 jet priced from 2021
Lockheed Martin’s F-35 jet program had to bear criticism for rapid production and its high cost. However, after an initial agreement with the US Department of Defense, its price has come down. While the price of a jet in the year 2021 was about 135.8 million dollars, by 2024 it declined to about $ 81 million.
