The festival of Anant Chaturdashi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which is celebrated for the increase of happiness, prosperity and good fortune. Fasting on this day gives relief from all sufferings.

On the day of Anant Chaturdashi, Lord Vishnu composed 14 worlds and appeared in 14 forms for its protection and adherence, on this day his infinite form is worshiped. Therefore, 14 knots are placed in the infinite sutra on this day.

The 14 knots of the infinite sutra are the symbol of Bhoolok, Bhuwalok, Swalok, Mahelok, Janlok, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka, Atal, Vittal, Sutle, Rasatal, Talatal, Mahatal, and Patal folk.

On Anant Chaturdashi, the sutras with 14 knots are tied on the right hand side. It is believed that a person who fasts Anant Chaturdashi for 14 years binds this formula, he gets Baikuntha Lok.

Before tying the infinite sutra, apply 14 knots in it and offer Vishnu in worship. Then Oon Anantaya Namah: or Anantasagar Mahasamudre Magnansamabhudhar Vasudev. Anantarupaye Vidyagatamayanantarupaya Namo Namaste. Tie this mantra and tie it on the hand.

The next day make this formula flow into the river. Keep in mind that after tying it, maintain the purity of body and mind, otherwise it does not affect.
