On Sunday, some people of Dhakad community attacked the convoy of Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari, who came to attend the rally ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chip’ of Congress in Ratlam. However, Patwari did not get any injury in this incident. The Congress has directly accused the BJP. He says that BJP is now adopting cowardly tactics.
Show black flags, broke the glass of the car
District Additional Superintendent of Police Rakesh Khakha informed that on the basis of the complaint of Congress leaders, a case has been registered against former Javra district president Ram Vilas Dhakad, Divisional President Ashok Dhakad and some others.
According to officials, the accused showed black flags and broke the glass of a car in the convoy. During this time the atmosphere became tense.
Patwari descended and calmed the atmosphere
Amid the attack, Jeetu Patwari himself got down from the car and tried to calm the crowd. He said that he has not commented against the Dhakad society.
In fact, before this, Patwari addressed a gathering, where he mentioned two people of the Dhakad community. In one case, Manoharlal Dhakad, the national secretary of the Dhakad Mahasabha registered in Ujjain, was caught in an objectionable condition.
The Mahasabha later removed him from the post. At the same time, a few days ago, Devi Lal Dhakad was arrested in Mandsaur for having unnatural sex with an animal.
BJP sponsored hooliganism- Congress
The Congress issued a statement saying, “BJP goons attacked Jeetu Patwari’s convoy.
The party also alleged that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s government is continuously compromising on Patwari’s security and deliberately putting him in danger.
After the attack, Patwari said, “The BJP government is afraid of the growing public support of the Congress and is adopting such cowardly tactics in the fury.” Addressing the Chief Minister directly, he said, “If he can reduce the drug trade in Madhya Pradesh with my murder, then I accept it. But now I will fight this fight under any circumstances.
Attack on democracy- Congress
The Congress said in its statement that “This is not just an attack on one person but a direct shock on democracy. The state Congress strongly condemns this attack and warns that the BJP’s hooliganism neither is afraid nor the voice of the people can be suppressed.”
The Congress has demanded immediate action against the culprits and warned that if action is not taken, it will further intensify the movement by taking to the streets.
