In the Uttar Pradesh Police Department, there has been a halt of application for recruitment of 4,534 posts of Sub -Inspector. So far, more than six lakh candidates have submitted their applications in this recruitment process. The police recruitment and promotions boarding the recruitment board estimates that the number of applications can go above 20 lakhs by September 11.
This new phase for police recruitment is moving very fast. Although the last date of application is September 11, but officials believe that the number of applications will increase rapidly in the last week. Both the Police Department and the Recruitment Board are making complete preparations to handle this huge number.
One time registration
In this recruitment campaign, the board has started the facility of One Time Registration i.e. OTR. Under this, after registering once, candidates can fill all their information and will not have to register again and again for different recruitment in future. So far, more than nine lakh candidates have registered themselves through this OTR.
While filling the application, many candidates had demanded to improve their information, on which the board has given a special facility. All the candidates on the website of the recruitment board can now change their details only once. This step will prove to increase both convenience and transparency for the candidates.
Preparations for upcoming exams in full swing
The Police Recruitment Board has informed that the written examination for the recruitment of sub -inspector will take about three months. Therefore, candidates will have to make a hurry in preparation. Along with this, other recruitment processes of the department are also moving towards their final floor.
Next month, a written examination will be conducted in the police for 930 posts of Computer Operator Grade-A. After this, there will be recruitment examination of clerical cadre in November. Also, recruitment work is going on for 921 posts of sub -inspector (confidential), Assistant Sub -Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub -Inspector (Accounts).
Candidates preparing for police recruitment pay attention
The last date of the application is 11 September 2025. There is still an opportunity to apply. Once the OTR has been given an opportunity to amend, definitely see it till the last time. Start preparing on time for written examinations, especially for computer operator and inspector posts.
